Buying padel court fencing and glass walls for the first time? Here are the questions overseas buyers ask us most, answered with real factory specifications from Dutai Wire Mesh.

FAQ: How to Choose Padel Court Fencing and Glass Walls?

1. What are the standard dimensions of a padel court?

A regulation padel court is 20m long and 10m wide (playing area), with a fence enclosure around all sides. The total structure including walkways is usually 22m x 12m. We supply complete sets cut to your site plan.

2. What material is used for padel court fencing?

The fence is hot-dip galvanized steel wire mesh in welded or woven construction, with a minimum wire diameter of 3.0mm and mesh openings of 50-70mm. The frame uses galvanized steel tubes - main posts 114mm or 140mm with 3mm+ wall thickness, and top rails of 42 x 1.8mm. For coastal or wet areas we recommend PVC-coated mesh for extra corrosion resistance.

3. Do I need tempered glass walls for my padel court?

Most professional courts use 12mm tempered glass panels for the back walls and part of the side walls, which gives the characteristic padel rebound and a premium look. If you are on a budget, you can start with all-mesh fencing and upgrade to glass later - our frame design supports both options.

4. What fence height do you recommend?

The minimum enclosure height is 3m, but we recommend 4m for the back wall and top protection, which prevents balls from leaving the court and is required by most tournament standards. The side walls are typically 3m high.

5. What is the MOQ for a complete padel court set?

One complete court set is the minimum order - that includes all mesh panels, posts, rails, fittings and installation hardware for a 20m x 10m court. If you order two or more courts at once, we give a quantity discount and can share one set of drawings and tooling.

6. How are the panels and glass packaged and shipped?

Tempered glass is packed in wooden crates with foam and steel edge protection. Mesh panels are bundled flat and posts are tied in bundles. A 20ft container holds about 2-3 complete court sets. We ship FOB Tianjin or Qingdao, and provide full loading photos before departure.

7. What payment terms do you accept?

We normally accept T/T with 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment. L/C at sight is available for larger orders. All prices are factory prices in USD, and we can issue all export documents including CO, form A and fumigation certificate.

8. Can you customize colors, logos or court layouts?

Yes. Fence colors can be finished in any RAL color (green, black, blue and anthracite are most popular), and we can print your logo on the glass panels. Tell us your site plan and local standards, and we will provide a tailored layout drawing.
